On December 8, 2019 at 10:48 PM, Mill Creek Fire Company was dispatched to assist the Hockessin Fire Company on a commercial structure fire located at 7450 Lancaster Pike in Hockessin.    When firefighters arrived from Hockessin they found fire at the roof line.   Along with Mill Creek, fire companies from Belvedere, Aetna Hook, Hose and Ladder, Christiana, Claymont, Cranston Heights, Elsmere, Five Points, Miquas, Port Penn and Avondale (PA) assosted.

At 11:24 PM a second alarm was sounded for additional manpower.

The fire was declared under control at 12:37 AM.  The Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
