Milltown – On single vehicle crash in the 2100 block of Milltown Road sends three to the hospital.   The crash occurred on March 30, 2020 at approximately 9:34 AM when a car left the roadway and struck a tree head-on.   As rescue crews arrived from Mill Creek Fire Company, they found three individuals injured including two children.  Multiple New Castle County paramedic units also responded to the scene.

Three ambulances transported the injured to the hospital.    Milltown Road was shut down while the police investigated the cause of the crash.   Firefighters cleared the scene at 10:13 AM and the road was shortly opened.
