On October 10, 2021, at 2:45 PM Mill Creek Fire Company was dispatched to a structure fire in the 700 block of Dorcaster Drive in Sherwood Park.   An injury was also reported.    Firefighters arrived on the scene to find smoke showing from the structure.   The fire was quickly contained, and units remained on the scene for 40 minutes.

One person was transported to the Christiana Emergency room.  The Delaware State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the cause of the fire.   Mill Creek Fire Company was assisted by Cranston Heights, Elsmere, Fire Points, Hockessin, and Minquas Fire Companies.  The New Castle County Paramedics also responded along with BLS units from Mill Creek Fire Company.
