June 28, 2022 – Mill Creek Fire Company was dispatched to an escalator rescue at the Delaware Park Casino.   The call was received at 11:16 PM reported an adult with their arm trapped.    Rescue crew from Mill Creek Fire Company arrived at the scene within four minutes and confirmed the entrapment.

Firefighters from Belvedere, Christiana, and Minquas Fire Companies responded along with technical rescue personnel from the Claymont Fire Company and the City of Wilmington Fire Department assisted with the incident.  New Castle County Paramedics were also on the scene.

At 11:47 PM the patient was extricated and transported to the Christiana Hospital by Mill Creek Fire Company.
