June 22, 2022 – Mill Creek Fire Company was dispatched to a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle on Skyline Drive in the area of the Pike Creek Shopping Center.   The call was dispatched at 3:30 PM.  Rescue and EMS units responded to the call along with the New Castle County Paramedics and the Delaware State Police Aviation unit.

After the patient was evaluated, it was decided to utilize the helicopter to transport the patient to the Christiana Hospital   A landing zone was set up at the Mill Creek Fire Company station on Skyline Drive. The patient was moved by ambulance to the landing zone and air lifted to the hospital.

All units cleared the scene at 4:00 PM.
