Mill Creek Career Firefighter/EMT's Aaron Olicker and Paul Strochine were awarded commendations by New Castle County government representatives Rick Gregory, Chief Administrator Officer; Dave Robers, Chief of Emergency Services; and Joe Reda, County Council. Also the State of Delaware was represented by Speaker of the House Robert Gilligan and State Senator Karen Peterson. Aaron and Paul were honored for rescuing and saving the life of 61 year old woman trapped in a house fire on September 4th, 2010. The presentation occurred during the Fire Company's September general business meeting on October 18, 2010.
