Anthony Carnevale received the "Volunteer of the Year" award at Mill Creek Fire Company's 84th Anniversary celebration on May 14th, 2011. Anthony joined Mill Creek Fire Company in 2002 as a junior member. He has served as an administrative officer and line officer. An active firefighter Anthony is also fire lieutenant. Anthony has served on many fire company committees including the Junior and fire prevention committees. He is also an alternate with the DVFA. But most importantly is his passion, commitment and dedication to fire prevention. From organizing door to door smoke detector installations, attending numerous fire prevention events, maintaining the fire safety house, serving on the DVFA life safety committee, involved with NCC Fire Prevention it is only fitting that we recognized Anthony as the "Volunteer of the Year".
