With a major Northeaster ready to hammer the area a call was received for an animal rescue. Firefighters responded to the home in Windermere to find a frighten cat approximately 20' high in a tree.
With rain pelting the cat's rescuers and the wind blowing, a 24' extension ladder was placed into the tree near the cat. Firefighter Nabb was able to reach out and take hold of the drenched feline as he safely carried the animal down the ladder.
Needless to say the cat's family were grateful to have their cat safely in their hands and out of the stormy weather.
