October 6, 2013 - Just before noon Mill Creek Fire Company was alerted for a dog rescue in the 1200 block of Elderon Drive, Arundel.  A 15 year German Shepard had descended a hill behind the family's home.  The animal was unable to climb back up and was trapped in the heavy brush for approximately two hours.   Firefighters were able to secure the animal in a stokes basket and then,  using ropes, pull it up the steep hill to safety.
