Vehicle Rescue Training

On Tuesday night November 5, 2013 18 members of Mill Creek Fire Company participated in Vehicle Rescue Training at BnF Towing in Newport, Delaware. Members were divided into two groups; the more experience group was assigned to lieutenants Meehan and McGraw having a scenario of three car accident with two of the cars simulating a T-bone accident. The second groups, consisting of new Junior/Probationary members were assigned to Assistant Chief Carnevale II and were taken through the fire company’s SOG’s for MVC operations, equipment familiarization, Vehicle Anatomy and “The Golden Hour” dealing with patients. All members did an outstanding job and learned a great deal.
