Milltown - On November 26, 2014 at 22:05 hours Mill Creek Fire Company was dispatched to a house fire in the area of Limestone and Milltown Roads.   The original dispatch also included Cranston Heights and Belvedere Fire Companies.  As Mill Creek Fire Company firefighters arrived heavy fire was reported.   The 100+ year old three story house was unoccuppied.   Heavy fire quickly spread throughout the structure and eventually breaking through the roof.  Additional resources from Elsmere, Minquas, Aetna (Newark) Hockessin Fire Companies were dispatched.   Over 70 firefighters battled the blaze.   No injures were reported and the scene was cleared at 3:30 AM.  The Delaware State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the cause of the fire.
