Joined Mill Creek Fire Company as a member of the Explorer Post 921 at the Age of 17 Over the years Dean has served on many companies committees: Fire Prevention,Membership,Picnic, Building & Grounds Archive,House Rules,Bylaws,Fundraiser,Budget, Parade,Trucks & Ambulance Replacement, Kids Christmas Party,Banquet,& Chairman of Building Station 2 in Pike Creek. Dean has held several Office position starting as Asst. Sergeant of Arm, Sergeant of Arms, Several years on the Board of Directors PIO Officer Vice President 1987-1989 President 1990-1991 Fire Captain & 1st & 2nd. Asst. Chief 2002 - 2010 Awarded Several Unit Citation Awarded the Chiefs Award in 2006 Awarded the Metal of Valor Award in 2009 Severed many years as Alternate & Delegate for the NCVFA,DVFA, Del-Mar-Va-VFA & CVVFA Servered as Director and President of the: Cumberland Valley Firemen Assoc. 2004 Delaware Vally Fire Chiefs Assoc. 2012 Life Member of Mill Creek Fire Company Cumberland Valley Firemen Association Delaware Valley Chiefs Association
