Paul is a life member, has held the offices of Ambulance Lieutenant, Rescue Captain Station 2, Director, Treasurer and EMS Lieutenant Station 2. In 1988, Paul received the Delaware Volunteer Fireman's Association Scholarship Award to attend Delaware Delaware Technical and Community College for an A.A.S. in Fire Protection Engineering Technology
