Edward Mason, 90, of Bridgeville, formerly of Wilmington died January 30, 2019.  Edward was a man devolted to serving his county and community.  In 1949, immediately after his four year tour with the US Navy, Edward begain his lifetime volunteer membership with the Mill Creek Fire Company serving as a firefighter and later with the fire police.  Much of his working career was spent with the General Motors at teh Boxwood Road plant from which he retired in 1992 after 30 years of service. Edward was a NASCAR fan, an avid fisherman, a NRA member who proudly obtained a carry permit when he was 89 years old.

Edward was predeceased by his son, Michael.  He wife passed away four days after his death.
