Joe started his journey into the Fire Service in 2016 when he attended, excelled, and graduated from New Castle County Fire Academy Recruit Class #1. Shortly after the Academy, Joe successfully obtained his National and State EMT certification. Throughout 100’s of hours of training, Joe has obtained numerous certifications, including: Pro-Board Fire Fighter 1 & 2, Pro-Board Hazmat Operations, Pro-Board Fire Instructor, Pro-Board Fire Officer I, Swift Water Rescue Technician, Ice Rescue Technician, and many more. In January of 2019 Joe was promoted to Fire Lieutenant at Station 21 and again promoted in September of 2019 to Fire Captain of Station 21. Additionally, Joe serves as Chairman of the Social Media Committee and assists with the Company Store.
